Mr. Kurt K. Chang, Esq. is the founder and managing partner at Kurt K. Chang & Associates, LLC. He currently focuses on all aspect of immigration law, corporate investment and tax planning, and general litigation.

 

Mr. Chang originally came to the United States as an international student on the F-1 visa. His education and immigration background gives him a unique insight into the stories of his clients.  With his wide range of law practicing experience, Mr. Chang has helped many individuals and families thrive in the United States.

 

Mr. Chang is licensed in the state of New Jersey and admitted to practice law before all levels of State and Federal Court within the territory of New Jersey. He is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyer Association (AILA) and admitted to practice before all Immigration Court of any states of the United States.

 

As a graduate of Case Western Reserve University (B.S. in Business Administration), Mr. Chang obtained his J.D. law degree and his dual Master of Law with honors in International Business and Tax Law from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. During the last two years of law school, Mr. Chang focused on Immigration and Taxation law studies and researches, and gained a variety of experiences through his externships and internships from Immigration Clinics at Case Western School of Law, Community Legal Aid in Akron, OH, and private practice law firm in Cleveland, OH (Immigration, Taxation, and Bankruptcy).

 

Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Chang worked for a mid-sized immigration law firm in Philadelphia, PA for three years, where he specialized in Immigration law, specifically, Business Immigration (EB-1, Eb-2, NIW, EB-3, EB-5, O1, L-1) and Deportation Defense (Immigration Court representation and waivers). Mr. Chang also represented many high profile international businesses and individuals interested in investing in the United States. Thereafter, Mr. Chang joined another law firm in Abington, PA, where he worked exclusively on Business and Family Immigration law practice (Specifically, EB-1, NIW, O-1, L-1, Adjustment of Status), and general litigations for 2 years before founding Kurt K. Chang & Associates, LLC.
