L Visa
跨国公司经理/特殊技能人员签证
The L-1 visa is a temporary non-immigrant visa which allows companies to relocate foreign qualified employees to its U.S. subsidiary or parent company. The qualified employee must have worked for a subsidiary, parent, affiliate or branch office of the company for at least one year out of the last three years. The U.S. company must be a parent company, child company, or sister company to the foreign company. The L-1 visa may also include non-profit, religious, or charitable organizations.
L-1 visa applicants generally are granted for a three period, however, in case the U.S. subsidiary or parent company are newly incorporated company without much of business operation, L-1 visa applicants are initially granted on a one year base, and aliens are allowed to extend the period of stay by sending formal petition to the U.S. Immigration Services.

L-2 Visa
The L-2 visa holders are generally the spouses or children of the L-1 visa holders. upon request from the U.S. consulate or immigration Service, the L-2 visa holder may be allowed to study in the U.S public school or legally work in the U.S.

首次L-1签证申请的有效期最多3年,在到期后均可申请延期,延期的L-1签证有效期最多3年。当L-1身份的最长效期到期以后,L1签证的持有者必须离开美国至少一年之后才可以重新申请新的L签证。 另外对于新组建的美国分公司,L-1签证的有效期仅为一年,在到期后申请人需提出延期申请。 L-1签证的持有者可选择在签证有效期内将L-1签证转换成其他非移民签证, 例如学生签证。此外, L-1签证的持有者的直系亲属可随同来美并进行工作或者学习。
